heres a little backstory...
The brains behind KICKS FOR KIDS is a young woman named Samantha Klebba and she has been working very hard to get this in gear. She came up with the idea a few months ago for a University of Pittsburgh extra curricular group aimed at helping the homeless in Pittsburgh. But even armed with such a wonderful charitable event; a sure-thing, if you will, she was regretfully shut down. Luckily, a director at the Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) was listenting in when Samantha gave her proposal and was more than interested to be a part of such a hip event for such a great purpose. They exchanged information that day, and the wheel started moving.
After many hours, days, weeks and months of hard work, the day is finally upon us and it is sure to go off with a BANG! We're all really excited to be a part of this. Congratulations Ms. Klebba, KICKS for KIDS, and the HCEF, i know its going to be a huge success. Hopefully this is a repeat event broadening its kick-giving everytime!! Thanks to everyone involved and everyone that comes (in advance) so i better see you there!
